Sohail Tanvir Ruled Out From Worldcup
Sohail Tanvir from the 15-member world cup squad over injury concerns,
PCB sources said on Wednesday.
The decision was made in PCB headquarter Lahore due to the fitness
problems of the all-rounder as Sohail Tanvir failed to show an impressive
performance against New Zealand in the ODI series. Selectors beleive that
Sohail Tanvir was struggling with fitmess problems.
Pakistan Under 19 player - fast bowler Junaid Khan will replace Sohail
Tanvir.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to send a request to ICC
technical committee for a change in the world cup squad.
Pakistan cricket team will fly to Bangladesh on Thursday,
to participate in world cup 2011.
Pakistan's will play their first match against Kenya, Feb 23
